Many women choose to hire a doula to feel supported, seen, informed, and heard in the birth room. I love supporting families with all these and more. The "birth day" is so special and I want you to welcome your newborn into the world having all the knowledge and support you desire whatever that means to you.
My Style
I've been a doula since 2013 supporting families with information, resources, massage, and hands on comfort in the birth room. My focus is on preparing the body and mind prenatally to have the most successful birth according to you. I find prepping the family with role play and visualization to be very helpful before hand. I love using essential oils, movement, and affirmations during the big day. My clients find my approach very calming yet assertive when need be.

What to expect:
I Typically meet with clients 2-3 times prenatally to discuss birth plan and preparation for the big day. On the birth day I provide physical and emotional support as well as helping you receive all the information you need from your provider. I'm there from one-two hours from the time I'm informed, and I stay continuously till about 1 hour after birth to assist with recovery and infant feeding. We will also meet once postpartum to check in and make sure you're recovering well and have all the support you need.
